We must remember that our words have power. I’m not talking about some magical power where our words, spoken in private, go out into the ethereal realm to do things we never intended. I’m talking about the power of our words to impact other people, perhaps even to change the course of their or our lives. When we speak out in anger or respond in anger, we may find that we set in motion things that we can’t stop; things we never wanted to happen, but this is the power of our words, so we should choose our words wisely.
