UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE

Today, we’re diving into a passage from 1 Samuel 23:6-14 where we see the ungrateful people of the City of Keilah betray David and his men to Saul. David and his fledgling army delivered the people of Keilah from the raiding and robbing Philistines, only to be betrayed by the people they had helped. This happened almost three thousand years ago, and I’m still angry about it.

Let Me Make Myself Clear

In the world, there will be tribulation, and the enemy will try to use it to divide us. But thank God, Jesus has overcome the world (Jn 16:33). If we lock hands and hearts in faith, we can stand stronger together than we can standing alone. Through their love for one another, the church in Thessalonica was able to overcome, and their faith continued to grow. We are always better together.
