<![CDATA[If anybody could be justified for having a chip on his shoulder and a bad attitude, it would have to be Joseph. He could have had an attitude of resentment for what his brothers did in selling him into slavery. He could have had an attitude of hatred against his captors for holding him in slavery away from his home and his family. And he could have had an attitude of anger against God for giving him the dreams that brought the whole situation to pass, and for letting him go to prison for doing the righteous thing. But instead of being angry and vengeful, Joseph is an illustration of what it means to keep on planting good seed in hard soil. He is an example of doing good things in bad situations. As a result of his good attitude, his dedication to God and righteous moral behavior, Joseph reaped a harvest of blessings and in so doing became a blessing to others.]]>
